Arthrem® is a dietary supplement for joint health containing our unique herbal extract of the plant Artemisia annua. This herb, known as sweet wormwood or qinghaosu, has been part of Chinese medicine for more than 2,000 years.
Clinically proven to reduce joint pain and stiffness while improving mobility in sufferers of osteoarthritis. Sourced in Switzerland, grown and harvested by hand in Tanzania and specially extracted in New Zealand.
Arthrem® comes in bottles containing 60 gel capsules (enough for one month). Each capsule contains 150 mg standardized extract of Artemisia annua plus grape seed oil to enhance natural absorption.
We recommend you take one capsule twice a day (morning and evening).
The safety of Arthrem® capsules has been investigated in a clinical trial, in which most patients were on numerous concomitant medications. However, no formal drug interaction studies have been conducted.
It is recommended that Arthrem® capsules should not be taken:
Arthrem® capsules appear to be safe when taken with a number of concomitant medications including proton pump inhibitors (e.g., omeprazole), NSAIDs, aspirin and paracetamol.
As with most supplements, patients are advised to discontinue use for 2 weeks before and after surgery.
In very rare cases customers have experienced allergic-type reactions after taking Arthrem® (fewer than 1 in 10,000). If you do experience any of the following symptoms after taking Arthrem® we advise you stop taking the product immediately and seek medical attention as needed: rash, vomiting, extreme nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest tightness.
